The Everyday Motion Podcast holds a special place in my heart, as it's the first podcast I've ever made and it truly was a collaborative effort with my pals Matthew Johnston (Mixer) and Maddie Alexander (Editor). I wanted to create a podcast that would bridge the gap between the emerging motion designer on their way to becoming an everyday motion designer. 9 episodes and 9 weeks of podcast promos later we did just that!
In the video above I show how I created a toolkit for our podcast promos that we released the week after a guest's episode was released. Throughout my process I focused on the areas of automation with scripting, triggering animations with expressions in After Effects, nifty composition setups to streamline multiple deliverables and more.
