Text To Markers is an After Effects script that will take your copy/paste text and convert it to layer or composition markers in your timeline. The markers can be created through a Word, Character, Character Ex. Spaces, or Line pattern. The markers will be distributed evenly based on layer duration or work area duration when they are placed at a composition level.

I created this script to expedite my workflow when highlighting timed text on a per-word basis for my podcast promos for the Everyday Motion Podcast. This script can also be useful when you need to provide cues on your timeline or layers for any beats you need to hit in your scenes.
